Joe Kaiser – Editor-In-Chief
Joe lives in the Bay Area but originally hails from Tacoma, Wash. and is a diehard fan of the Mariners, Huskies and Seahawks. He has undying admiration for Seattle sports legends Ken Griffey, Jr. and Gary Payton. With a background in journalism from the University of Washington, Joe enjoys writing, editing and managing the tremendous group of writers on staff. Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, playing basketball and going on the never-ending search for the perfect cup of coffee.
Scott A. Alfano – Associate Editor
Raised in the Bronx, New York, Scott is a 2008 Union College graduate, where he was the vice president of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and played on the Union College varsity baseball team. He graduated with an interdepartmental degree in English and Physics. Although Scott no longer plays baseball, he has stayed involved in the game. In the past, Scott has both coached baseball and worked as a baseball instructor, primarily in pitching, hitting and first base fundamentals. Scott is a fan of the New York Yankees, Rangers, Knicks and Buffalo Bills.
Drew Thompson – Contributing Writer
Currently residing in the Riverdale section of New York City, Andrew has a combined twenty-plus years of both playing and coaching in the sport of soccer. He has played at both the High School and Club levels as well as being scouted to play Division I. As a coach he has worked at all age levels, from 8 to 18, at Complete Soccer Academy and Yonkers High School. He received his Bachelors in History and Political Science from SUNY Albany in 2007 and is currently in a Masters program for Secondary Education.
Brent Mickol – Contributing Writer
Born in Manhattan and raised in White Plains, New York, Brent is a life-long sports fan. Growing up playing soccer, baseball and ice hockey, Brent developed a passion for the technical aspect of the games he loved. He received his Bachelors in World History from SUNY Albany in 2008 and is currently working towards getting his Masters in Social Studies Education. He is a diehard fan of both the New York Rangers and Houston Astros. Brent’s hobbies include gaming, writing, and, of course, sports.
