Aaron Rodgers and His Teammates Seize NFL Top Selling Jersey Rankings

The Green Bay Packers are coming off of a championship year, and reports show that their fans are showing them serious support. Check out the new list for your favorite players!

According to sales made at NFLShop.com from April 1-Aug. 30, the list of the 20 top selling NFL jerseys has drastically changed. In accordance with the results of the Super Bowl, Troy Polamalu has dropped from first to third in the rankings and Aaron Rodgers and his teammate Clay Matthews have catapulted into the top two spots. Former No.1 on the list Denver Bronco Tim Tebow has dropped down all the way to tenth, and all in all lots of shifting and shuffling occured in the standings.

Dallas Cowboys players Jason Witten and Miles Austin have left Tony Romo as the Cowboy in the top 25, but overall the Cowboys still rank third in team merchandise sales. Quarterbacks still seem to sell the most gear as eleven out of the top twenty-five players are signal callers. This was a successful season for many defensive players such as James Harrison and Chrles Woodson, as there are now five defensive players on the list.

To illustrate the rewards of winning, you could just examine the amount of players on this list who played in last year’s Super Bowl. that being nearly 50% at eleven out of twenty-five. The Patriots are also well represented with three players being in the top 25. The experience of these players ranges from hard-nosed vets like Charles Woodson to young highlight reels like DeSean Jackson, and you can see that the NFL has bounced back strong from the lockout considering most of these guys are household names.
