The brand new Golden State Warriors uniforms are a huge upgrade from the orange, yellow and blue color scheme that the team has embarrassed the team and its fan base for far too many years. While the new logo and uniforms were unveiled months ago, only recently were they made available to the public. Have you picked up yours yet?
The 2010 Golden State Warriors uniforms have the classic San Francisco Warriors look, with the Golden Gate Bridge making up the main part of the new logo.
Thankfully, the color orange and the thunderbolt have both been removed from the new uniforms as well. Remember this look? It never exactly put fear in opponents, did it?
The result is a sharper, cleaner – and overall better – uniform for a franchise that has long-needed a new look.
Whether the Warriors new image results in more wins has yet to be seen, but it couldn’t hurt. With David Lee now on board to go with Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry, the Warriors are a sleeper team in the Western Conference and a fun young group to root for.
